The future of Brome-Missisquoi starts today
How can we preserve the natural environments that make our region unique while meeting growing housing needs? How can we protect our water resources while supporting a growing population? How can we adapt our communities to climate change while maintaining the quality of life that defines us?
By 2050, our region will be called upon to evolve. Climate change, population growth, housing needs, and access to services will transform the way we live, plan, and develop our territory.
The coming decades will bring new pressures. Balancing the protection of natural environments, housing availability, vibrant communities, agriculture, and climate adaptation will sometimes require trade-offs and collective choices.
There is no single right answer to these questions. That is why we need your perspective, experience, and knowledge of the region to help guide the decisions that will shape Brome-Missisquoi by 2050.
