Access to MRC documents
The person in charge of document access will be absent from August 21th to September 2nd, 2024, inclusive. You will receive an acknowledgment as soon as possible upon their return.
In compliance with the Act respecting Access to documents held by public bodies and the Protection of personal information (CQLR, c. A-2.1), every person has a right of access, on request, to the documents held by the MRC, subject to the law.
Before filling out a request, if you are looking for information to this effect, we also invite you to consult all the minutes of the council of mayors meetings for the past four years, the bylaws in force and the public notices published by the MRC Brome-Missisquoi (see the “Quick links” section at the bottom of the page).

Usually, the person in charge of access to documents processes requests within 20 days of their receipt.
In some cases, this period may be extended in accordance with the law.
Yes. The person in charge of access to documents for MRC Brome-Missisquoi will inform you if access to part or all of a document cannot be provided in accordance with the Act respecting Access to documents held by public bodies and the Protection of personal information.
