Notice to applicants on the waiting list: additional funding for 2025-2026

A budget of $38M has been allocated to the program for the year 2025-2026.

Please note that the Home Adaptation Program (PAD) has been suspended since November 22, 2024. Applications received since that date are currently being analyzed and applicants will be informed of decisions in the coming weeks.

No new registration applications will be accepted as of April 1, 2025, until further notice.

Objectif du programme

The Residential Adaptation Assistance Program provides financial assistance to people with disabilities, i.e., individuals with a deficiency causing a significant and persistent disability who are likely to encounter obstacles in performing everyday activities, so they can adapt their homes.

Eligible individuals may receive up to $50,000 each. A needs assessment is required from an occupational therapist.
