Penalties
A trip is flagged as unused for the following reasons:
- Inaccessible or unsafe entrance to the home (temporary disability)
- Failure to pay
- Failure to follow rules regarding luggage or shopping bags
- Failure to follow rules regarding pets
- Forgetting to cancel, cancelling at pick-up time, or failing to cancel within the required window
- Refusing to take transit
- Refusing to use a seatbelt without a certificate of exemption from the SAAQ

A user who cancels more than six one-way trips in a single month must pay the fare for each cancellation in excess of that number.
Depending on the severity or frequency of the inappropriate behaviour, the user could receive a temporary suspension of a week or more or, in some cases, a permanent suspension.
Failure to follow one or more of Transit services’ rules could result in an immediate end to any transit use or the user being charged additional fees.
