Legal aid

Low-income individuals in Quebec can access legal aid. Legal aid can be used to help you with your immigration process or other situations such as family separation, for example. Depending on your income, you may be eligible for legal aid at no cost or a fraction of the cost.

Note that not all lawyers offer legal aid, and that this service is not available to asylum seekers. For more information, contact SERY (Solidarité ethnique régionale de la Yamaska) in Brome-Missisquoi (see the Contact person section below).
