How school fees work

Public elementary and high schools charge a fee for learning materials (books and photocopies) and lunchtime monitoring. You will receive a bill for these fees at the start of the school year.

The fee per child is usually under $200 and can vary by year. If you cannot pay the full amount at the start of the year, you may contact the school to arrange an installment plan. You can pay this bill through your bank account.
