These daycares do not receive any subsidies from the government and operate off of parental contributions, but they must meet the standards of the Ministère de la Famille.
Costs vary between $30 and $70 a day. The daycare’s owner decides how much parents pay per day. Parents’ contributions can be declared for a tax credit when you file your tax return. You may receive money back, depending on your income.
