Cultural funds
The Brome-Missisquoi MRC invests $25,000 each year to support local cultural initiatives. Each year different criteria are established for the fund, but always in keeping with the general guidelines of Brome-Missisquoi’s cultural policy.
To be eligible
Be a cultural organization or an artist/craftsperson living in Brome-Missisquoi
Type of financing
Paid in the form of a grant, it can cover up to 50% of admissible expenses, up to a maximum of $4,000.
Call for projects
The project call for 2010 has ended. The accepted projects will be announced on the site after March 31st. Please note that the MRC issues a call for projects once a year and that it takes place at the beginning of each year.
How to submit a project to the Cultural fund
In order to make a request for funding, candidates must fill the application and budget form. These documents are available on-line, at the beginning of each year, when the project call is declared open. Before officially submitting a request, it is strongly recommended that promoters contact the advisor responsible for the fund in order to determine admissibility, share complementary information and validate the intended budget. Please note that a budget that does not balance could be evaluated as an incomplete request and therefore be rejected.
