RURAL PACT    Call for projects

Call for projects

The Rural Pact’s 5th project call is now open. Promoters have until November 2nd to submit a request for funding. Whoever would like help in structuring their project or need additional information can contact Tania Szymanski at 450 266-4928, extension 281 or at tszymanski@cldbm.qc.ca

Eligibility

Only non-profit organisations, municipalities, the MRC, cooperatives and public organisations from the education, health and social services sectors can submit a request for funding. A contribution from a municipality or the milieu is also necessary.

Favoured projects famille

  • Structured projects that respond to the results of Vision 2008-2014;
  • Projects in response to the National Policy on Rurality 2007-2014:
      • Promote the renewal and integration of newcomers
      • Foster the development of the territory’s human, cultural and physical resources
      • Ensure the survival of rural communities
      • Maintain a balance between the quality of life, the living environment, the natural environment and economic activities;
  • Projects with lasting continuity;
  • Projects deriving from a consultation process;
  • Projects with long term economic, social and/or community implications;
  • Projects greatly supported by the community or well known organizations.

Type of financing

cheminFinancial help is available through the form of a subsidy. There is no minimum or maximum established per request. However please note that aid cannot exceed 65% of the project’s total budget. In the case of a project taking place in a municipality identified with difficulties, the Rural Pact can fund up to 75% of the project’s total cost.
